Citrus ~ Turmeric ~ Vanilla

The dazzling energy of power-rhizome turmeric blended with citrus peels, soothing calendula blossoms, a hint of fennel and an activating dash of black pepper. Like a sunburst supernova on ice, this casually elegant iced tea is full of powerful anti-inflammatory ingredients. In a nod to summer's past, the blend settles into a gentle touch of vanilla. 

Enjoy as is, or sweetened with a honey simple syrup and a splash of coconut milk. Also makes the most beautiful, saffron-hued frozen treat: a healthy version of a tangerine-sicle.  

Makes 4 gallons (64 eight ounce servings), includes 5 filter bags for easy brewing.

Cold Brew Method: Combine 1/2 cup tea leaves with 1 gallon filtered or spring water. Cover and let sit at room temperature for about 4 hours, or to taste; strain and chill. Makes 1 gallon. 

Quick Brew Method: Bring 3 cups filtered or spring water to a boil; let cool 3 minutes.  Put 1 tablespoon tea leaves in a heat-proof container. Pour water over leaves. Add one cup ice cubes, and stir to combine.  Makes 1 quart.

Ingredients: organic turmeric, orange peels, chamomile, fennel, vanilla and natural essences.

Brewing Instructions:
